Intellectual Property Complaint Policy

TheenStyleUS respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask you to do the same. TheenStyleUS may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, terminate access to its online platforms for users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and/or remove content that infringes those rights.

If you believe that your work (e.g., artwork, photo, text, etc.) has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement on our platforms, you may notify us in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA). To ensure your DMCA complaint is valid, please provide TheenStyleUS’s designated agent with the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or is the subject of infringing activity, including information reasonably sufficient to allow TheenStyleUS to locate it.
  • Contact information for the complaining party, such as a mailing address, telephone number, and email address (if available).
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Please be aware that regardless of whether TheenStyleUS removes or disables access to content, we may make a good faith effort to forward your complaint, including your contact information, to the user who posted the content. We may also take additional reasonable steps to notify the individual of the alleged infringement.

Note: Under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability, including civil penalties, monetary damages, and attorneys’ fees.
